A troubling sense of COVID-deja-vo. For the first time since January, new daily cases are rising in all 50 states, fueled by the highly contagious

Delta variant. In Jacksonville, cases are doubling each week. You have hell, like many hospitals,

is seeing younger and sicker patients. We're seeing overwhelming numbers. And this time, this surge is a lot

faster. And if I can use the word a lot lot meaner than last time, things are worse.

Nationwide, COVID cases are up nearly 70% over the past week.

Hospitalizations are up nearly 36%.

Deaths 26%.

California is open again.
