January 6th Select Committee hearings. Today's witnesses are Jeff Rosen, who was the acting attorney general,

when Donald Trump was trying to overturn the results of the election, Richard Donahue,

who was the acting deputy attorney general, and Stephen Engel, who was the assistant attorney

general at the office of legal counsel. They will be testifying to the pressure, the intimidation, the coercion

that was placed upon their heads by Donald Trump to go along with the lie, the big lie,

that the election had been rigged and stolen from Donald Trump. What you probably will hear today is that, well, the one

that's missing, by the way, is the White House counsel, Pat Cipalone, who also threatened to resign.

These Justice Department officials, these high-ranking Justice Department officials, all committed

to resigning their positions if Donald Trump would install a guy who came from

the bowels of the environmental portion of the Department of Justice, who was going to send

a letter to state legislators, to governors, to secretaries of state in the swing states,

saying that he had concerns about the election
