Hospitalizations have now jumped nearly 80% in two weeks, with the seven-day average for cases

sitting just under 700,000. At Miami's Baptist Health, about 500 health care workers are out with COVID,

forcing them to close some urgent care centers just to shuffle staff. We have plenty of equipment.

We have plenty of medications. It is a staffing issue. The staffing shortage apparently so bad in California, the state has resorted

to changing guidelines for health care personnel, who if they test positive and are asymptomatic,

may return to work immediately without isolation and without testing. That decision, sending
