My name is Randalline Horn. I was the director of photography on the office and sometimes director of the office.

Hello everybody. Thanks for joining us back here on the office deep dive. As always, I am your host

Brian Baumgartner. Now today we have such a treat for you. This episode is the beginning of a

kind of mini series, a deep dive within the deep dive, if you will, about the camera on the office.

Specifically, the camera as a character. As I have said many times, the thing that I am most

proud of about the office is the attention to detail about the camera. Every shot was meticulously

thought out to make it feel like a real documentary. In every scene we shot, there was always a

conversation about the camera's angle, the way that it moved, and the intention of the camera.

And so who better to talk about all of this than the guy who shot it, the guy who was holding the

camera. Randalline Horn. Now I love Randall's story. Okay, I'm not going to give it away. But let me

just say that he started out as a river guide deep in Australia, mate down under in the wilderness.

And then he ended up as DP of the office. It's incredible. And even though Randall is this like

adventurie, outdoorsman guy who'd rather sleep in dirt than a bed, he is also the sweetest guy
