Give vaccinated. Take steps like mass-quaring indoors and encourage family and friends to do the same.

We do these things not because they're fun or second nature, but because they work.

They're based on science and evidence. They save lives.

Call me crazy and I guess some people really do, but truly this does not require a rocket science degree, if there is such a thing.

My friends, the earth really is round. How round is it? Well, more than 660,000 Americans have died from COVID-19.

And because some flat earthers, especially those in places of influence, choose to pedal fiction, we're losing more of our loved ones today than we were a few months ago.

Flat earthers meet Delta. The Delta variant, Beseeginar Nation, is faster, stronger, and more contagious.

It spreads more than twice as easily as the original COVID virus. It went from a county for 1% of COVID cases in May to being the beast behind the vast majority of cases today.

Well, that was your head of the health and human services, Javier Bessera. This guy was actually a politician out in California when I was living in California.

And you know, it's one of those things when you watch it, you literally just like, why can't I be in the room?

Man, I just want to let this guy have it. Like, what are your credentials? What do you even know? And by the way, when you talk about the fact that what have we done, what took it from being a mild, you know,

SARS coronavirus into the beast that it is now? How about your vaccine program? I mean, you want to be there. You want to be like, have someone, why isn't anyone there that can just let this guy have it?

Well, as it turns out, we do have somebody like that and he keeps delivering. This is Rand Paul letting it rip in the Javier Bessera on this ridiculous statement about flat earthers.

You mean people that like have natural immunity and realize that they don't need the vaccine or people that see all the deaths and injury on bears? Yeah. Yeah, those flat earthers. Rand, let them have it.

Mr. Bessera, are you familiar with an Israeli study that had 2.5 million patients and found that the vaccinated group was actually seven times more likely to get infected with COVID than the people that had gotten COVID naturally?

Senator, I'd have to get back to you on that one. I'm not familiar with that study. Well, you think you might want to be if you're going to travel the country insulting the millions of Americans, including NBA star Jonathan Isaac, who have had COVID recovered.

Look at a study with 2.5 million people and say, well, you know what? It looks like my immunities as good as a vaccine or not in a free country. Maybe ought to be able to make that decision. Instead, you've chosen a travel country calling people like Jonathan Isaac and others, myself included flat earthers.

We find that very insulting goes against the science. Are you a doctor or a medical doctor? I have worked over 30 years on.

Health. Here, you're not a medical doctor, but you presume somehow to tell over 100 million Americans who survived COVID that we have no right to determine our own medical care.

This is an arrogance coupled with an authoritarianism that is unseemly and un-American. You serve the one ignoring the science. The vast proponderance of scientific studies dozens and dozens show robust long lasting immunity after COVID infection.

Even the CDC does not recommend measles vaccine if you have measles immunity. The same was true for smallpox, but you ignore history and science. You should be ashamed of yourself and apologize to the American people for being dishonest about naturally acquired immunity.

Do you want to apologize to the 100 million Americans who suffered through COVID survived have immunity and yet you want to hold them down and vaccinate them? Do you want to apologize for calling those people flat earthers?
