Do you remember when you were the new guy?

That was a long time ago.

Kyle Shannon and I were talking about that yesterday.

I can't believe it's our ninth meetings here.

It is crazy.

It is crazy it is crazy and time just flies but for both of you

it's been incredibly successful you've gotten that ring yeah and it feels like you guys really are

close and you know we watch what these teams do in the off season and i feel like so many of them

are about closing gaps sure what's the gap we're trying to close you guys are trying to close the gap between where you are on the top of the mountain.

You're not just trying to be relevant.

You guys are right there.

Sure.

You know, I think the one thing is, and you know this, every year's a new year.

And while it was a really rewarding season, I thought we got better as the year progress. Obviously, the Philly game stings because you're right there on the cusp of

being able to finish that game. But I do think we've got a young ascending defense. We've got to

continue to build on that. I think we've done a good job of hitting on draft picks the last

couple years. And then we've got great veteran leadership with Matthew Stafford. Being able to

resign some guys this offseason, I think, has been big. And then we've got some ascending players. Bringing Devante Adams in was a big deal for us. While it was also challenging to be able
