Hi everybody. Welcome to Mormonish. I'm Rebecca. And I'm Landon.

And we have a wonderful guest with us today. We have Scott Dyer with Rami Empton Ruminations. How are you, Scott?

Hey, Landon. Hey, Rebecca. Thanks for having me on.

We've been wanting to have you on for quite a while. It took me a while to learn how to pronounce the name of your amazing podcast. So I had to work on that very hard. So I did not stutter on the air. But I appreciate it. You got it. Yeah, no, we are thrilled. Ram the emptom rumination is just a, I'll say right up front. If any of our viewers or listeners have not tuned into this, you will not be disappointed. This is a wonderful podcast, and we'll get into this more as we talk to Scott. So let's start out. I think Landon has the bio, as we usually do. Let's read Scott's bio really quick and then just dive right in. Okay. Scott is a guy with a microphone and way too much to say

about a church that he left years ago. He's the host of Rami Upton Ruminations podcast under the

umbrella of the Mormon Discussions podcast brand. Living in a mixed faith marriage influences the tone

of his podcast. He strives to publish content that is true to the data and his own

feelings while creating an approachable space to both the newly doubting and the nuanced believer.

And I believe he's also a great cook and makes great cakes. Yes, in fact, we do have a slide.

I will have to tell you, we had a little pre-meeting with Scott and we were chatting and he was mentioning, all right, see you guys later. I'm off to make my daughter's birthday cake. And I said, oh, cake, you know, any mention a cake. I said, you have to send us a picture. So a day later, this shows up in our inbox, and we're just like, is there nothing this man cannot do?

He's an amazing podcast, an amazing person.
