I am joined again by Brady Nordfeldt.

He worked for 11 years at BYU, Idaho in the admissions department.

Our previous episode, we discussed a number of things about his religious deconstruction,

working in the admissions department. We talked about the Honor Code. We talked about marketing

and some surveys that they did. Great episode. Go check out that previous one. But again,

welcome to the podcast, Brady Nordfeldt. Thanks for having me again, Scott. Our discussion last week

was amazing. I am excited to jump back into things. Some of the subjects that we didn't dive very far

into was some of the hierarchy, the organization, the leadership, and kind of what it was like

working for the LDS church with, you know, it's an extension. This is the school, but it's owned

and operated very similarly to the religious institution. For sure. So then maybe to wrap this

discussion off on maybe your time with admissions and some of the things that we've been discussing,

what was it like reading applications? And what was that process like? What are some of the

insights, you know, behind the scenes? And there's so many of us that we go through the whole process.

And it's been, you know, a while since I've submitted my application. But yeah, you go through

the process. You write everything. You send it off. And there's almost this like, I have no idea what happens,

and I have no idea what goes into the decision of actually getting in or out. So what was that

process like? And obviously, I can only speak to BYU, Idaho, but because we're admitting

96% of the people who apply or 97, whatever it is, all the applications come in and they are
