A former Norwegian striker (with perhaps the greatest nickname we’ve seen) joins Andy Brassell on today’s episode of Ramble Meets… as we sit down with ‘The Feather’, aka Jan Åge Fjørtoft!
Many of you will know Jan from his goalscoring exploits in the Premier League’s fledgeling years, as he scored regularly for Swindon, Middlesborough, Sheffield United and Barnsley – either that or him leading the line as Norway beat England in 1993! He joins Andy to discuss his storied career which took him to Austria and Germany as well, saw him captain his country on fifteen occasions and even save Eintracht Frankfurt from relegation with an iconic 89th-minute winner in the final game of the season!
