So it's Eid, and Eid is a time for family in celebration and food.

Growing up, my family would make sure of Burma go to the mosque and then come home and watch TV.

And one of our favorite TV shows is Top Chef.

Nine chefs remain to compete in the ultimate culinary showdown.

At stake for the winner, coveted title of Top Chef.

I recently got into it because of Fatima Ali, who was on the most recent season,

she's a Pakistani cook making really interesting takes on Pakistani food. And right after the show, she was

diagnosed with cancer. So I wanted to bring her on to talk about her diagnosis, her passion for

Pakistani food, and of course, what it's like to be on top chef. Welcome, Fatima. Thank you very

I'm much better, yep. I'm almost done with treatment, so I have just a couple more months left until I'm a free bird. Great. We're, you know, making do it and pulling for you and all that. Thank you very much. I saw you got to, Badmah Lakshmi visit you in the hospital.
