| 1:20.2 | And one of those things is the role of Ibrahim A.S. in understanding Islam itself. |
| 1:25.5 | So there are stories of prophets, A.S, that are really important, all of them play a significant role, |
| 1:32.4 | but actually you have to know the placement of something and the actual role that it plays, |
| 1:39.2 | the significance of it and the connection between other parts. |
| 1:42.8 | So the stories of the prophets in the Qur'an are actually the vast majority of them are deeply |
| 1:47.2 | connected to each other. They're part of a larger narrative. They're like pieces of a puzzle. |
| 1:52.4 | And Ibrahim A.S. is a very fundamental piece of that puzzle. |
| 1:57.0 | I would even argue that understanding the the sera of our messenger and the mission of our |
| 2:02.4 | messenger, so Allahu A.S. is next to impossible. The overall objective of the life of our |
| 2:09.0 | messenger, so I said, is nearly impossible to understand without understanding the connection |
| 2:14.6 | that mission has to Ibrahim A.S.. It's not just understanding that connection though. |
| 2:20.5 | When you and I understand that connection, our view of what Ibrahim A.S. saw the world as. |
| 2:27.2 | He had a world view, right? And that world view was lost for thousands of years. |
