Today's khuluk of the characteristics of the believers is one that is easy to understand but difficult to give examples for.

And it is a khuluk that the Qur'an praises and in fact says this from Allah swt.

It is the khuluk of being dignified.

It's a difficult concept to give examples for.

But the Arabic word is heiba or wakar or sakina or murua.

All of these concepts, the believer exudes a sense of dignity, a sense of respectability.

Allah swt commands us in the Qur'an.

Don't walk pompously on earth.

Don't walk in a manner that's not befitting.

Then Allah says, if you walk in this manner, it's not as if you're going to carve a hole into the ground or compete with the stars or the skies.

In other words, put yourself in your place.

Don't be pompous and arrogant.

Walk in a respectable manner.

And Allah says in the Qur'an, speaking from the tongue of Lukhman, that Allah says that, that, that Lukhman tells his son,

that don't lower your voice when you speak.

The most obnoxious type of speech is the speech of the donkeys.

So when you speak, don't raise or lower your voice too much.

Speak in a dignified manner.

Don't speak like the donkey.

What is the point here?
