Abu Jahal was a small man

Abu Lahab was a small man

Not in the physical sense. Just like those who are blind are not those who are physically blind

But they're people who have blind hearts

Those who are small people are not those who have small bodies. That's just a physical vessel

But they're people of no character and people without character tend to overcompensate with all sorts of things

clothes of vanity, you know braying loud voices and just utter obnoxiousness

Now you have all these scales in this life and if you look at these scales

They try to weigh things that a typical scale can't so you have the muscle versus fat density or whatever it is that doesn't show up on a regular scale

But you know what a worldly scale can't weigh?

It can't weigh your character only Allah's scales can do that

If you look at Abdu'l-Llawd, the man is a giant in the steam and that was true in his lifetime

And it's also true in his legacy

He's the first person to recite the Qur'an publicly

He's the one who the prophet slice them said if you want to hear the Qur'an fresh and beautiful

Like the way it was revealed then listen to the recitation of this man

And it was he who would bring the prophet slice them himself to weep when he would recite to him

And if you open any book of Hadith and you just see the name Abdu'l-Llawd without any last name

Then you know it's talking about him because you know he's the greatest of them all

Now you compare this man Abdu'l-Lawd and Mas'ud al-Ata'ra Anu to Abu Jahal
