My brothers and sisters, we ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala to forgive our sins again another beautiful eve

From amongst these eaves of the month of Ramadan a gift for us from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala

We say Allahumma innaka a'fu wun to hibbul a'fu wa fa'afu'anna o Allah

You are most forgiving you love to forgive so forgive us. I mean

My brothers and sisters

Intafsir al-Tabari according to the narration of katada

He says the musrikin at the time of the prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam

Some of them from amongst those in Makkah the disbelievers

They used to think that they were

more deserving than Muhammad salallahu alayhi wa sallam for the Quran to have come to and for the deen to have come to and they used to say

We are higher than all those who have accepted the faith

We are above all those who have accepted this religion if there was any goodness in it

We would have been the ones who would have got it first

So Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala revealed verse number 11 of Suratul Ahqaf

Clarifying this and making it clear that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala is the one who decides he is the one who chooses and these people

Because they are not following what Muhammad salallahu alayhi wa sallam has come with that is why they are trying to find fault in it

If they were guided to it they would realize that it in fact is the truth

They say that
