We now begin with the next verse, and that is Ihina s sirrata al moustacheim and if remember

last week we mentioned the hadith of the prophet of the prophet of Allah al-A la-Lihyahe was

in which he said that Allah said I have divided Surit al-Fattaha in two halves.

And the first half was the praise of Allah.

Now we get to the second half and what did Allah say?

Allah said, this shall be for my servant and my servant will get whatever he asks for.

Waly Abdim-A-Sah-L.

So this half of Sultilfah-I-Hah, Allah has promised us we will get it, if we ask him in an appropriate manner and even

before we begin imagine a loss of hana what to say and how to ask him and what to ask him.

And this in and of itself should give us an optimism.

The King of Kings has told us this is how you should ask me. These are the

wordings. This is how I want you to plead for what I for for your guidance. So the

very fact that the wording of the petition, the very fact that the forms have been handed to us directly by Allah,

all we have to do is fill it out and hand it back.

This should give us an optimism that insha Allah-la-tada our duah will be accepted. Also realize that this

Surah teaches us some of the etiquette of duah and that is a whole different topic and

I have spoken about that here on this mimbah and I also have a book about the

etchids of duah. But very briefly from Surt al-Fahaha, yes we're asking Allah for Hidaya.
