So this is a spiritual protection.

And I said yesterday that this type of phrase, A-du can only be done as a Muslim using the name of Allah.

If we seek this type of protection in other than Allah, then in reality we have given an action of worship to other than

a law. It is the same as if we prostrated to an idol. It is the same as if we sacrificed

an animal in the name of another God. We cannot say a u-du and then have another name besides the name of

Allah. And the Quran mentions that this happened as an instance of shirk. In Suritil Jin,

Allah mentions that the Jin said, and this is in the Quran the conversation,

Wah nahu Kain al-Iilmin al-Insti Yar U-Dunabidijalim min al-inz, Yar U-Dun,

there were groups of Inz, Yar-U-Dun seeking refuge amongst and from the Jin.

And Ibn Abbas interpreted this verse, he said,
