Brothers and sisters, we thank Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala

and praise him upon all conditions.

We ask him to send blessings and salutations upon Muhammad

Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam, his entire household, all his companions.

May Allah bless them all and grant them every form of goodness

and may He bless us all and grant us every form of goodness in our lives.

And even after we have left this world, I mean.

Brothers and sisters, we are continuing with the names of the ten

from amongst those who were told they are from Paradise,

known as Al-Asharah, Al-Mubashsharah or Al-Mubashsharina,

the evening in inshaAllah, we will be looking at the lives of two of these heroes.

The first being Abdul Rahman ibn Awf, Radya Allahu'an

and the second being Saad ibn Abi Waqas, Radya Allahu'an.

As for Abdul Rahman ibn Awf, he was known for his wealth.

When he was young, he was not so wealthy.

He accepted Islam at a very early age.

In fact, it is reported that he was ten years younger than Muhammad

Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam and he was approximately thirty.

When Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam had nubuwa, so he was not that young,

but at the same time, he was from amongst the top eight to accept Islam.
