We commence as always by praising Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala

And we send complete blessings and salutations upon Muhammad

Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam upon all the messengers,

whom Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala had sent down to man

from the very beginning right to the very end.

And we ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala to bless all the companions

of Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam, those who struggled

and strived in order to protect the deen,

to look after it, to convey it in such a way that today

it has got to us, may Allah make us from amongst those

who can preserve it and realize how fortunate we are to be

from amongst the Ummah of Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

If you take a look at the persecution of the people

who had accepted Islam in the early stages,

if you ask yourself a question as we did yesterday,

why did they accept this faith?

Was it because they found wealth there?

No.

Was it because they found status there?

No.
