| 0:23.0 | We ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala to bless him and all his companions and every single one of us |
| 0:28.0 | Also we ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala to accept from us the fasting that we have been engaged in |
| 0:36.0 | and to accept from us the standing in Salatul Qiyam that we have been engaged in |
| 0:41.0 | and to make us from amongst those who can be rewarded with Jannah |
| 0:46.0 | and we ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala to make us from amongst those who can observe as many etiquettes of the month of Ramadan as possible |
| 0:53.0 | Believe me the month of Ramadan is a season and that season is there for myself and yourselves to automatically improve ourselves if we are to fulfill the etiquettes of the month |
| 1:05.0 | So if we are to fulfill whatever we are required to fulfill during this month automatically we will come out of the month much better people |
| 1:15.0 | May Allah grant that to us. This evening we completed Surah Al Maida and as I mentioned yesterday there is mention in the Surah of several items that are prohibited when it comes to consumption as well because it is a laid table cloth and on the laid table cloth what do we expect besides food |

| 2:32.0 | So from this verse we learn that just as it is so bad to label something halal when it is haram it is also as bad to label something haram when it is halal |
| 2:46.0 | And this is why we have been taught that there are three categories, there is that which is halal which is clear, there is that which is haram which is clear, the halal we eat from partake in, the haram we abstain from and we stay far away from |
| 3:02.0 | And in the middle there are certain items Allah knows the ruling but we as human beings might not know exactly what it is |
| 3:10.0 | In that case we abstain we are not allowed to partake this is why when it comes to whether it's allowed to eat or not there's only two rulings it's either yes or no |
| 3:20.0 | There is no maybe in Islam because if you know it's halal the answer is yes it if you know it is haram the answer is abstain |
| 3:28.0 | And if you don't know the answer is still abstain so we ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala to grant us understanding |
| 3:34.0 | This is clear in the Hadith of An-Nuhmani bin Nimbashir in Sahih Muslim |
| 3:38.0 | And the prophet of Allah has reported to have said in the halal al-Bayyan and in the haram al-Bayyan |
