We thank Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala for having guided us to this Dean.

Had it not been for his guidance and his mercy,

we would have indeed been straight.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala keep us on the straight path

and may Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala help us to rectify our weaknesses

and may He make us from amongst those who are conscious of Him at all times.

Tonight alhamdulillah we commenced with the recitation of Suratul Mu'minun

and I'm sure we are well aware that the term Mu'minun refers to the believers

and the reason why Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has named the entire Surah

after the believers is in the opening verses of the Surah

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala explains certain qualities of people who qualify

to call themselves believers.

We need to ask ourselves the question,

do we qualify to call ourselves believers?

Alhamdulillah we do call ourselves believers,

but do we really and truly live up to the word?

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala grant us all success and may He make us conscious.

The five major qualities that are mentioned regarding the true believers

and the qualities that they are meant to be having,

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala commences with announcing success

for everyone who is a believer.
