When I was little maybe five or six years old my older brother Damien, he was two years older than me.

He was having some issues with bullies in school.

And so my parents thought it might be a good idea from to take some self-defense lessons.

I go to karate because I admired him so much. I wanted to follow him into everything.

My main recollection for my time, I almost had playing karate, doing karate,

was I had a huge crush on this girl who was I think in my brother's class. She was a red head. She reminded me of Annie.

Little orphan Annie? Yes. Or Annie Oakley? Oh, little orphan. You think as a five-year-old at a crush on Annie Oakley?

I'm surprised you had a crush on anybody at five years old. Oh, yeah. My first great teacher, Mrs. Farrell,

Carrie Fisher and the general. You're an active little boy. I, yeah. I enjoyed the ladies back then.

And so I remember her being in a, she was in a higher skill level. She was in a class.

She was like an orange or yellow belt. She had a colored belt.

And I remember being very self-conscious when I, because all the kids had to wait in the lobby

for their parents to pick them up. And I used to take my white belt off right away.

So she wouldn't see that I had a white belt and that my uniform, I had the smallest size,

but I was so tiny that it still didn't fit. I deroll up my sleeves on that. And one of those,

I forget what they call them, get geese. Geese? Oh, yeah. Is that, am I right? I don't know where I pulled that from.
