0:00.0 | Hello, everyone. This is another episode of the three questions I'm Andy Richter and I am talking today with Ralph Machio. |
0:21.0 | Where am I talking to you from? |
0:25.0 | I'm in New York City right now. You're from New York. You're an East Coaster to begin with. |
0:34.0 | Oh, he's been. Any kind of Hollywood life, that was sort of... That was the unusual part. |
0:40.0 | I wouldn't say unusual as the word, but I guess the longest I've lived in LA was I would say 80-81. |
0:52.0 | I was on a TV show called Eight Is Enough. I was nine. Eight is enough to fill our hearts with love. |
1:01.0 | Exactly. And so I lived out there, I did 22 episodes of that, and then I stayed there the following year. |

2:12.0 | The Mets on a Playoff run. Now I'm heading out of town to do a book tour. I'm like, did I tie? Could I have time this worse? |
2:20.0 | It's one of my big sports. That always brought me home too. The sports weather is the islander's my hockey team or the Jets. |
2:28.0 | Okay, the Jets. You can watch them lose from anywhere. It's from any place in the world. |
2:35.0 | But I used to love going back. That would be... Often be the inspiration of when I got done with a movie or a project. |
2:42.0 | I would... Wait, no, they're the Stanley Cup Finals. I got to go home. |
2:46.0 | So that's how I avoided the pitfalls of the darkness. The slow seduction of the crash and burn. |
