0:27.9	I joked with someone the other day that, like, I would love just to talk about parenting and motherhood all the time.
0:33.3	But maybe that's another season of my life, as I am still very much a young mom.
0:37.2	But I'm excited to learn from people who have been working with families for years and have so much biblical truth for us.
0:44.0	We have David Thomas and Sissy Gough and we're celebrating their new book called Capable.
0:48.6	And I told this to them before we started recording that I have been eating this book up, especially having a very strong-willed
0:55.2	and frankly emotional four-year-old and not even in a bad way. It's just we're learning all the
1:00.0	things. And so I'm so excited to talk about this. But before we do, would you guys mind introducing
1:03.9	yourselves a little bit about who you are, what you do, and all those fun things? Maybe David
1:08.5	will start with you. Okay. Well, first off, we are so
1:12.4	honored to be with you. It's a joy to get to spend time and thank you for inviting us into this
1:16.9	conversation. And we have both been practicing as therapists for three decades at an amazing
1:23.8	place here in Nashville called Daystar Counseling Ministries where we focus on just
1:28.7	the pediatric population. So our whole focus is kids, adolescents, and families. And we do the
1:35.3	work a little different in that we're in a house rather than an office, which was a very intentional
1:39.3	decision, because if any parent listening has ever taken a kid you loved to counseling, you know
1:44.0	it can be an overwhelming experience, particularly that first appointment.
1:47.7	And we're working as hard as we possibly can to help families feel really comfortable when they walk through our front doors.
