Welcome back to the Adam Schaefter podcast.

It's Combine Week, and to get you ready for Combine Week,

we will be joined by the new head coach of the Miami Dolphins, Mike McDaniel, somebody that I've known for a long time.

Our relationship dates back quite a ways.

And I remember him as the ball boy for the Denver Broncos team that I used to cover for the Rocky Mountain News in Denver Post.

We go back and look at his career path from there to here to now

being in charge of an NFL franchise. And then we'll be joined by the former general manager

of the Minnesota Vikings, Rick Spielman, who now is appearing on a series of podcasts,

doing some media work and getting used to his new life in Florida, away from

Minnesota, he'll share his thoughts on some of his Minnesota memories.

And of course, in Combine Week, much of the talk will be about quarterbacks, as it always

is.

And before we get to Mike McDaniel and Rick Spielman, first wanted to point out some quarterback

chatter that's gone on at the Combine already this week. Isn't it interesting that the Packers

General Manager, Brian Gutikins, has said that he has had no conversations with no other teams

regarding a trade for Aaron Rogers. And for those who say,

well, that must mean he's going back to Green Bay, being that there's been no trade talks.

I would also tell you this. There are people in the organization, players, coaches,

others that haven't had any contact with Aaron Rogers that have no idea what he's going to do.

And so while I think some people across the league think that he's more likely to return to Green Bay than not,

I can tell you that the people in and around that organization right now are wondering themselves.

They do not know what's going to happen.
