I'm going to... Throughout her childhood, not much was consistent for April Belascio.

At a young age, April got used to her family moving without warning.

Every six months to a year, they would abruptly pack their bags, often in the

middle of the night, and move with April to a new location. Constantly changing neighborhoods

and schools made it difficult for April to keep and maintain friendships. Life at home lacked consistency

as well, for April never knew what to expect when spending time with her father.

Edward Wayne Edwards could be the life of the party, or he could be dark and brooding with a

violent temper who was physically abusive toward his family. It wasn't until April was an adult

that she was able to establish a life for herself, one that contained joy.

But despite her independence, she was still haunted by the unpredictability of her upbringing,

and by fragments of memories, she couldn't quite piece together.

Once she turned 40, April took it upon herself to discover the truth about her father,

only to have a horrifying revelation.
