I'm Gianna Jalosi with your Fox True Crime Minute. The police have arrested the alleged leader of

an anarchist vegan cult and another member tied to a series of crimes, including the murder of a Customs and Border Patrol agent.

Maryland State Police confirming to Fox News Digital that 34-year-old Jack Ziz Latata and 32-year-old Michelle Zashko were arrested over the weekend on a number of charges.

Lasota, the alleged leader of the cult-like transgender group

known as the Zizians, that has been tied to the killing of CBP agent David Chris Molland

near the Canadian border in January, along with five other homicides in Vermont, Pennsylvania,

and California. A nationwide manhunt was launched for Zazco following the CBP murder.

She allegedly bought the guns used in the shooting

and is considered a person of interest

by prosecutors in three other murders,

including the murder of her parents.

Pennsylvania police say the gun used in the murder of the agent

was the same used to kill Richard and Rita Zashko in 2022.
