I'm honored to be selected by UCB Theater's LA Playwrights Horizons program.

The Scientology Celebrity Center, Celebrity Advancement Grant, and the icing on the cake was I actually got a Yale School of Drama Honorary Degree. Just based off my submission, and it's truly humbling.

And you know, without these grants and funds,

it would have been incredibly hard to write this play.

So I'm very excited to share with you tonight a piece of this play which is a drama entitled,

Rain's coming in. It's about a family in.

It's about a family in a small town, but it's about all of us.

It's about dreams, goals, love, resentment, adulation, bitterness, jealousy, addiction, boredom, intimacy, and of course

Thanksgiving. I hope you'll see yourself in this play and that it will hold a mirror up to your own faults and that's any artist's humble hope, I think.
