| 1:44.9 | So we'll talk about that. |
| 1:45.8 | You'll hear from your calls and text will be in segment number three. |
| 1:48.8 | Segment number two, we'll talk about where this team is right now. |
| 1:51.8 | Once we saw what they were able to do on Sunday, what does this team need moving forward under |
| 1:57.9 | head coach Pete Carroll. |
| 1:59.1 | We'll break that down to talk about that. |
| 2:01.1 | Segment number two here is segment number one, game flow really talk about how you know kind of look at the numbers side of things when it comes to the game and what the raiders did well and what they didn't do well we'll jump into that after i tell you about the title sponsor of the show which is fandul right now new customers can bet just five dollars and if your bet wins you'll get $300 in bonus bets to use across the app. So off top, the Raiders lose 30 to 29. They dropped the 2 and 6 overall. The game went to overtime. And there was a decision that had to be made once Gino Smith had to touchdown pass in the back of the end zone of Brock Bowers. Okay, what are you going to do now? Are you going to kick an extra point, tie the game with only a handful of seconds left in overtime? Or are you going to go for the win? Well, you're going to go for the win 99.9% of the time. And if he had not gone for the win, it would have been all bad, right? So again, I say 99.9 because I don't want to say anything is 100% of the time, but you had to go for the win there. So I was very happy that Pete Carroll chose to go for the win. |
| 2:53.5 | The play that they drew up actually was open. Gino Smith just wasn't able to get to Tyler Lockett. And really, Jacoby Myers was open. There was about three guys that I thought were open, but it was a really good play I thought by the Jacksonville defense to bat the ball down to the line of scrimmage and never give the Raiders an opportunity. But the Raiders really started to come on late in the game. They didn't play a complete game when it came to scoring. Too many times they got into the red zone had to settle for field goals as opposed to touchdowns and even miss an extra point from Daniel Carlson so you know how that goes. But on the day, Gino Smith, 29 for 39, 29, 24 yards, |
| 3:25.5 | four touchdowns and an interception. He was sacked twice. He had a rating at 117.9. Now, that interception to start the second half was not a good one. That was one of those why Ginos, you know, the one where you hit yourself in the head and say, why, Gino, why? You can't do that. But for the most part, he was pretty much on point throughout the course of the game. Brock Bowers returned |
| 3:42.9 | to action, and you could tell the difference between offense that does not have Brock Bowers out there, offense that doesn't have Brock Bowers out there just about 100% healthy, and even Jacobi Myers as well, it looked a lot better on Sunday. Brock Bowers had 12 catches for 127 yards and three touchdowns. |
| 3:59.9 | And it was all kind of different little nuggets that came out about Brock Bowers from Raiders PR |
| 4:04.4 | and even the NFL in general following that game. |
| 4:07.1 | But just one of them, Brock Bowers becomes a third tight end in Raider history. |
| 4:10.4 | And the first since 1983, Todd Christensen, to record three receiving touchdowns in a single game. And think about it, the Raiders have had some pretty sticking good tight ends in the history of their team, just to know that he's the third tight end in Raider history and the first since 83, Todd Christensen to record three receiving touchdowns in the game, that is a lot. And like I said, that wasn't the only little nugget, but I don't have time I could take up the whole segment talking about the addition to Brock Bowers back to the Raiders offense. Ashton Genti, remember I said I wanted to see a commitment to the run game. Still not quite where I wanted it to be, but he had 13 carries for 42 yards. He also had five catches for 47 yards in a touchdown. So 18 total touchdowns, but he really needs to be up there closer to 25. And still don't like the fact that he was ripping off some nice runs early in the game. He had a couple, what, the first two runs were for 17 total yards. But you just never saw him get the ball consistently. It's like, okay, hey, this is working. Let's go away from him. Right? he picks up the 17 yards on the first drive, you know, the first two plays. And it's like, all right, let's throw the ball three times. |
