Speaking of players that you're looking forward to coming up at the end of April, I'll go ahead and rattle off a handful of names of guys that I'm looking at outside of the first round. Of course,

Fernando Mendoza number one, that's easy. But outside of that, the Raiders still have nine more picks. So what direction do they go? I'll talk about a few of those guys that I've got my eye on. We'll do that in segment number two here in segment number one, news and notes of the day. And it really has to do with draft picks coming in, potential draft picks coming into the facility and also free agents. So a couple of reports out

there right now. This one came from Ian Rappaport on Wednesday. The Raiders holding the number

one overall pick will host Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza on a top 30 visit in two weeks.

He's a presumptive first selection. He'll take part in Indiana's Pro Day on April 1st, paving the way for his all-important visit to Las Vegas the next week. So as far as I'm concerned, that's the one that you care about the most, right? Obviously, Fernando Mendoza, I don't think it's a big mystery. Who's going to go number one overall? But nice to see that he's going to be

in the facility. It's nice to see that they're kind of putting a date on it a couple weeks out, according to Ian Rappaport. And, you know, he can start to look around, maybe even pick out his locker. You know, this will probably be the time where they let him know what's going to happen, how it's all going to go down.

in for a top 30 visit, not unexpected, but the fact that he will be coming in in a couple weeks. Also, this is according to Ryan Fowler. He put out the Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders will host Texas A&M wide receiver Casey Concepcion for a top 30 visit. He's one of those wide receivers that I talked about coming out of the scouting combine that I was a pretty big

He's a guy that could possibly be a top, our first round pick, I should say, at the wide receiver position, but he plays the position really well. And matter of fact, talking to Lindsay Rhodes from Summersports.com when I was at the scouting combine, she said that was the name that she kept hearing going into the combine. Watch out for this Y receiver. Watch out for this Y receiver. Watch out with this Y receiver. Now, he has had some, you know, concentration drops here and there. You never like to hear that from a Y receiver, but he's a big time playmaker. So not upset at that at all.

We know that the Raiders are going to be interested in adding more playmakers around Fernando Mendoza when, in fact, they do draft to number one overall in April 23rd, man, I'll be so glad we don't have to backsell it with when in fact or if in fact, right? I'm going to be so happy when I don't have to do that. but Casey Kesecion could easily be a Y receiver that they add if he does drop to round two or maybe even if he is at there at the tail end of round one and they decide that they want to trade up. I think that the most likely way that they land him is if he rounds in round two. But again, you never just know how this plays out. And again, Ryan Fowler, he says a name to know in the linebacker class, Cincinnati linebacker Jack Dingell, who's 6'4, 235 pounds, has a 30 visit scheduled with the Raiders, private lunch with the Saints, and had a private meeting with Minnesota as well. We'll attend Bengals Local Day. So I've mentioned it before. I think the Raiders need to come away with this draft with a couple of linebackers. I'm not saying that Dingell's a guy that they're even going to draft. I know that there's a chance that he could be a late round pick or maybe even be one of those undrafted free agents. But clearly, they're trying to get a lot of young talent on the defensive side of the ball. I've been saying it for a while that I thought that this roster was going to look completely different at 2026, a very young roster from guys that didn't get a lot of burn last season to guys that they bring in this year, even young free agents that they've signed. When you look at the age groups from 25, 26, 27, those guys are still relatively young in the NFL. So I do believe this roster is going to look totally different. But again, just another name to pay attention to Jack Dingell. Now, how about this one? This is the guy that's currently in the league. Former Chargers and Steelers running back, Najee Harris visited the Seahawks on today. This was on Wednesday per the wire, and the plan is to visit the Raiders next, sources said.
