And as you can imagine, a lot of feedback, calls, text, everything about the Christian Wilkins situation, who on Thursday, late on Thursday, the Raiders decided to release, talked about it in great detail on Friday show. Matter of fact, had a double-disc version of the Lockdown Raiders podcast because, well, One whole show was basically dedicated to Christian Wilkins and then we had to get some other news and notes in. So we had to double up on Friday. So there's still some feedback coming in when it comes to Christian Wilkins in the situation as we still don't know every single detail of how it ended up being what it became, but we know what it is at the end of the day.

Christian Wilkins is no longer with the silver and black. So your calls, your text will close out the show. That'll be in segment number three. Segment number two, just really want to recap the first week, right? I mean, the five-day acclamation period for practices. Today they're going to put on the pads for the very first time. They'll have back-to-back pad days Monday and Tuesday,

but really want to talk about what stood out to me the most from personnel, from the way that the guys are going out there and practicing, just kind of all what it looks like. Summary it real well for you. in response to what the Raiders did on Thursday, when they moved on

from defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, they claimed Keondre Coburn on Friday off of waivers. They put

out an email saying that Keondre Coburn was claimed off waivers from the Tennessee Titans. He

joins the Raiders for his third season after spending the second half of 2023 and and the entire 2024 season with Tennessee. Coburn initially entered the NFL as a sixth round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in a 20-2003 NFL draft, 6-2, 32-32-pound defensive tackle, played in 20 career games with one start, one with the Chiefs, and 19 with Tennessee, has recorded 22 tackles and one tackle for loss. I remember him

really well because he went to the University of Texas. He played there five seasons. He was in 51

career games total 96 tackles, 14 tackles for loss of five and a half sacks over his career.

So all in all, it's another body added to the defensive tackle room. And again, as Raider Nation

and everyone is trying to kind of get

their mind wrapped around the fact that the big ticket, Christian Wilkins is no longer with the team,

you keep realizing. And it's something that I've been trying to reiterate, reiterate and reiterate

to anyone who will listen. That defensive tackle room is very, very deep. Obviously, Adam Butler

is the lead dog in that room, but that's a deep room. And these guys are getting after it. And they all believe that they can fill that role. And you have guys like Coburn who are going to go in there and compete. Jonah Laulu, he's going to go in there, compete. You heard him on the show, I believe what, Friday, Disc 1 is when you heard the conversation I had with Jonah. He's a guy who's going to be able to go in there and compete. Leaky Foto,

he's going to go in there and compete. There's a lot of dudes in that defensive tackle room. And the one thing that, again, I want to reiterate that I feel good about the position, even though, you know, Christian Wilkins is a heck of a talent and he's not there, you can't really miss what you never had. And the Raiders only had them for five games last year. So they found ways to overcome without him. They're going to find ways to overcome without him now. It's just as simple. And then all of a sudden, the other guy that's going to play a major factor in that defensive tackle room as well, maybe not consistently, but you're going to see him in there is defensive tackle Tyree Wilson as
