And, well, we went through multiple players that he selected for the Silver and Black. So you'll hear his thoughts coming up in segment number two. And we'll start out in Phoenix, Arizona, the site of the NFL owners meetings. in, well, the Raiders and their succession plan was one of the, you know, one of the deals that was on the, on the table to have voted on by all the NFL voters. As a matter of fact, and owners, I should say. A matter of fact, Albert Breer, Monday morning quarterback, SI.com tweeted this out early on Tuesday, part of the rate of succession plan is for Egon Durbin, who already owns 7.5% of the team to buy another 7% this year. Half of that, 3.5% is happening now, with the owners voting on the sale this afternoon, with the other three and a half to be sold to Durbin by the end of 2026. And then he also went on to say, ahead of the owner's approval of the transaction, Mark Davis owns about 40% of the Raiders. So this sale will take down closer to the league

minimum for a controlling owner, which is 30%. Well, as you know, the succession plan to give

Egon Durbin an opportunity to get another 7% of the organization and be the succession plan and have the first

right to refusal that went on the table and it was approved so what does that mean right now

what does that mean in the future here's mark davis paul getteris from raiders dot com and a couple

other reporters caught up with him after the vote was approved and uh kind of asked them about the plan

what's going on now and later.

Well, Egon Durbin bought 7% of the team and he has an option to purchase the controlling

interest of the team should I decide to sell.

What does that mean for the franchise today?

Absolutely.

Everything runs exactly the way it's been.

Did the NFL, the NFL like to have a succession plan kind of?

The NFL forces you have a succession plan.

And up until three months ago, my mom and I were both alive, and my mom passed away.

I don't have any children or a wife at this time.

And so it was prudent to put together a succession plan that would make sure that there was no issues. Should something happen to me or should I decide? So there's Mark Davis.
