obviously we are going to preview the Raiders in Washington. We'll get to the injury updates. And just what the Raiders have to do in terms of keys to victory to get this one on the road. break down what happened on Monday night because we had our show Monday morning, so you guys didn't get to break it down here. Now, it was a very tough loss. We were all wrong in our predictions. But what were your guys' biggest takeaways from the Raiders losing to the Chargers on Monday night football and the way that they lost? Link will go with you first. Well, I've always said when you have a quarterback, you have a chance. And that night, Gino Smith was not very good. I mean, he took risks. He took chances. Now, I don't put it all on him in particular because there were many times that the line, the cup was collapsing around him, harassing him. He couldn't really step into throws. He was trying to make big plays. And here's where it plays into one another because in week one, those throws that Gino Smith made were caught. And they won the football game. So he thought he could probably strike lightning,, get lightning in a bottle again in this past game.

And the Chargers had a phenomenal plan for him. They said, we're going to load up. We're going to play Tampa, too, which basically covers up the defensive line of scrimmage with as many people as you can. And you're going to have to beat us with intermediate and accurate throws. And there were many throws during that night. It was, oh, had me say, oh boy, don't do that.

And of course, three picks.

So this offense is still learning one another. They're still coming into their own. And we'll talk about the run game a little bit later. But the fact is that it just was not a good night for the most important person on the football field, the quarterback.
