Calls, text, a lot of great feedback. Got it all weekend long. We'll get as much in as possible coming up segment number three. Segment number two, we'll get to know. We'll keep that series rolling as we continue to highlight and look at some of the players that the Raiders drafted and even some undrafted free agents as well. Brandon Cleveland, seventh round pick out of NC State, the big defensive tackle. Didn't know when the Raiders were going to get a defensive tackle. Didn't know if the Raiders were going to get a defensive tackle. They did. They did it in round number seven. So we'll highlight him coming up in segment number two here in segment number one, news and notes of the day. We'll go ahead and jump right into it after i tell you about the title sponsor of the show which is fandle right now new customers can bet just five dollars and get $150 in bonus bets if your first bet wins head to fandle.com to get started today so some of the conversation i had on friday show was about the schedule release didn't know when it was going to be. Had Jeremy Fowler from ESPN on my radio show, and he said he wasn't too sure. Didn't know if it was going to be this week or maybe the next week. There was kind of back and forth reports about when it was going to happen. And then, of course, on Friday, later afternoon, found out that it's going to be this week. So it's actually coming up on Thursday, May 14th.

2:02.0

And the thing about it is, I don't try to make too big of a deal of it because we already know the opponents that the Raiders are going to face. We just don't know when it's going to be. And the only reason that it's really even a bigger deal, I mean, of course, we're always going to look at it and we're going to play the win-loss game. We always do that. It's inevitable, right?

2:18.8

There's no doubt about it that that's what's going to happen. But this year it's even more important because I really want to see, you know, when we think maybe we'll see Fernando Mendoza, right? Will he start right away? Will they wait until the buy week? When's the schedule? Is it front-load Is it back loaded? Like that's why it's even a bigger deal this year because we're on Fernando Mendoza watch, right? And I think everyone anticipates him playing. I don't think anyone thinks he's going to miss all season. I don't think he's going to miss the whole season. I think that Kirk Cousins will start. But at some point he'll make way for Fernando Mendoza. But that's why the schedule to me is important. It's funny having Jeremy Fowler on my show on Thursday, he was like, I'm not a big schedule guy. You already know the opponents that they're playing, so it's not really a big deal. And he's right. I agree with them 100%. But for this reason only because of Fernando Mendoza,

3:08.7

it's even more important for the Raiders in 2026 as far as I'm concerned. So just in case you don't know who they're playing, the home games, Broncos Chiefs, we know that. Those are division opponents. They also got the bills, the dolphins, the Rams, the Seahawks, and the Titans. So those are some tough games.

3:25.7

Bills are obviously a tough team.

3:42.6

Dolphins, I don't know what to expect from them. They're kind of in one of those rebuild-type modes with the new head coach there, and they've gotten a lot of players out of there. They're trying to bring some players in. So maybe they're not going to be a very good team, but you just don't really know what to expect for the Miami Dolphins. The Rams are always really good.

3:58.2

You know, they're a team that everyone considers one of the favorites to win the NFC West. So you got the bills and the Rams. The Seahawks just won the Super Bowl. So you know they're a really good team. And then the Tennessee Titans, you know, they weren't very good last year. They were the team that the Raiders beat. one of the three wins that the Raiders had last year.

4:00.1

So we'll see what they bring this year.

4:31.2

They got new head coach as well in Robert Salas. So, you know, you look at the Broncos, playoff team. Chiefs, playoff team. Chargers, playoff team. Bills, same thing. Rams, same thing. Seahawks, same thing. So really, six out of the eight games that are going to be played at home for the silver and black are all teams that are playoff teams. And I know Kansas City didn't make the playoffs last year, but does any of us think that Kansas City is not going to make the playoffs again? No. So those are tough games at home. On the road, the nine games they have on the road, still, Broncos, Chiefs, Chargers. We all know what's up with that.

4:47.7

Patriots, they were in the Super Bowl last year. Jets, not a very good team. Cardinals, not a very good team. 49ers, we all consider them a team that can do really well in the NFC West, just like the Rams potentially win it. Browns, not a very good team, but they beat the Raiders last year. and then the Saints and I have a bunch of questions about the Saints.

4:48.5

Who are they?

4:49.5

Really don't know.

4:47.7

But for anybody who says... Not a very good team, but they beat the Raiders last year. And then the Saints and I have a bunch of questions about the Saints.
