So we'll shift our attention to the rookie minicamp coming up on Saturday, at least when we're allowed to be out there. We'll do that in segment number two. of rookie minicamp. May 1st through 3rd. Again, today they're out there in action. Tomorrow,

they'll be out there in action, and we'll also be allowed to be out there and check them out

and talk to a select few following practice as well. And then, of course, they'll close things out

on Sunday. But so the camp is opening up. The Raiders signed seven other 10 draft picks officially on Thursday. And they came rapid fire. Now, the thing about it is, it's not like it was back in the day where it took a long time to come to agreement with some of these rookies. But now the contracts

are slotted. So it's like, bing, bing, bink, bing, bing, bing, and that's how it came through.

Right. I'm doing my local radio show. Matter of fact, I was at MGM Graham. The Benavita's fight is coming up this weekend here in Las Vegas, single tomorrow weekend. And so I was actually out there doing my radio show and also my email,

Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing!

They just came fast and furious.

And that's the beautiful thing about it.

So seven out of the 10 guys have officially been signed to their rookie contracts. And by the time you're listening to this, the other three might already have been signed, steel, and delivered. It's not going to take too long. Last year, the one guy that took forever to get signed was Jack Bess, the second round pick. And that was only because at the top of the second round last year, if you remember, Swessinger from the Browns and also the second round pick from the Houston Texans, they had fully guaranteed contracts. So all the second round picks won is fully guaranteed contracts. and so nobody lower like Jack Besh, who was in the 50s, was going to sign a contract. started signing the contract so they knew how they could slot in. Well, that's not the case this year.
