Las Vegas, I tip my hat to you, man. You guys showed up and you guys were quiet enough for offense, you know. But when our defense, that was one of the loudest places I've ever been in, especially enclosed like that. It got really loud. But Las Vegas, they did their thing and they helped us pull out that win.

To stay in Vegas an extra day is to be overwhelmed and dehydrated and very possibly

humiliated in public as the Ravens found out while losing twice in overtime on Monday night.

But today, after inaugurating the new black hole,

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr is hoping that what happened in Vegas

does not just stay in Vegas as his high-rolling team takes their show on a savage journey

to the heart of the AFC.

Paul, the last time we had you on the show, you were living out of an RV, and you are covering the Raiders that way.

So where are you right now?

I am still doing the Cousinetti Vegas vacation lifestyle, how you like the spread.

I'm still in the RV, but at the moment I'm at the Raider facility trying to recover from last night's a wild Monday night football opener and staying in the air

conditioning. ESPN's Paul Gutierrez has covered the Raiders for more than 15 years and his new

book on the team titled If These Walls Could Talk is out now. And when I left the RV this morning and

hadn't yet hit triple digits, but it's supposed to get up to like 105, 106.

So yeah, still living that RV lifestyle.

Wait, so just before we get to the game, which was the most absurd Monday Night Football game, that I can remember, the RV, which you, I believe, had parked in your parents' driveway.

Is that still where it remains?

Well, it was parked in my parents' driveway in Barstow, which is about two and a half hours or so away.

So it's their RV.

They'll let me borrow it.
