Now, off top, this is some news that I found out on Friday, and it really kind of gave me a gut punch, man. I was at the Raiders practice facility on Friday, and I happen to look down and check Twitter and see that Greg Papa, the longtime voice of the Silver and Black, is going through a battle with cancer. And that's something that doesn't discriminate. It doesn't matter about your tax bracket. It doesn't matter what you look like, what your beliefs are. That thing comes for everybody. But that was one of those that just kind of takes

the breath out of you when you see it and read it because, well, it's just the last thing that you're expecting to read, right? And I was expected to see Papa coming up. Matter of fact, in a couple of weeks, he's going to be here or the 49ers are going to be here for their preseason game number two. And of course, they're going to have a joint practice as well. So I was looking forward to that just saw him in indianapolis at the scouting combine and it's crazy man so many

times i've heard it's crazy man so many times i've been in game number two, and of course, they're going to have a joint practice as well. So I was looking forward to that.

Just saw him in Indianapolis at the scouting combine, and it's crazy, man. So many times I run into people and they'll hit me up and say, hey, man, let's catch up, have a couple drinks after your show or after my show. Let's catch up. Hit me up and we'll link up. And I always say, okay, no problem. and 99% of the time it doesn't happen for one reason or the other.

But in Indianapolis at the scouting combine, I actually did catch up with Papa after my show. And I'm glad that I did. I spent some time with him, was able to just, you know, kind of pick his brain and always love to hear from him and talk to him. And, you know, to you actually know that I'm on a friend basis with him, where he's a guy

that for the longest I just looked up to it, I was like, man, that guy is so cool, the voice of the silver and black. And, you know, back in the Bay, when the Raiders returned in 95, the NFL still had that stupid blackout rule where the league, you had to have the game sold out. I think it was 72 hours before kickoff.

And if it wasn't sold out by then,

then it would be blacked out locally.
