You know, we need guys who can score touchdowns and the Raiders last year, we just didn't score enough.

And we're at that point on the draft board where we felt there was a player on offense that could you know potentially you

know be a difference maker for us with the ball in his hands and then we look at

our offense right now tight ends our quarterback's best friend you they're easy throws, give him the ball in his hands,

and let him run after the catch. And Brock, Georgia, he was moved around a lot, so he was in line to the

Tiden. He was in a big slot. He's been split out before he's been as a wing

so I think you can use them in a variety of ways and we're looking to add some

They got to Michael Mayer out of Notre Dame last year so they got two

tight ends and it's a twist on the old Buddy Ryan thing

although it wasn't really why he got rid of Chris Carter the line that he'll never

get away from is all he does is catch touchdowns.

That'd be fine with the Raiders.

They want a guy who's going to catch some touchdowns regardless of position and I think

Bowers is good enough that it's not quite he doesn't have the Jimmy Graham build or the Gronk build, but it's kind of the same idea.

It's a past catching tight end that is kind of like a receiver who plays a different position not to pay him as much.
