As far as I'm concerned, one of the best in the business. He was a part of the Pat McAfee show on Friday on ESPN and was talking about Fernando Mendoza talking about Ty Simpson and a little bit more. So we'll definitely deep dive into that and let you hear what he has to say about both those quarterbacks. I'll give you my feedback as well. And also a wide receiver that I have a lot of interest in. Don't know if he'll make it to round number two, but I would have a lot of interest in if he did. I'll tell you who and I'll explain why. In segment number two, here in segment number one, just news and notes of the day, just a little bit of thoughts that it was collected over the weekend. We'll go ahead and jump right into it. The NFL owners meetings are going on right now in Phoenix, Arizona. Matter of fact, they got started on Sunday, later on

today or this morning, I should say GM John Spitech will be speaking with the media. And it's pretty

cool little atmosphere there, nice and relaxed. All the head coaches are there. The majority of the

owners around the league are there. Matter of fact, all of them should be there at least day one

when they're doing all their voting. Then they start to kind of trickle out. So later on today, early tomorrow, they'll really start to, you know, roll out. But it's like a kind of a breakfast type setting, right? Where coaches and GMs, they'll be in this room, this ballroom, and they'll be sitting at their individual tables. And, you know, you can sit there and pepper room with a handful of questions, you know, I mean, and you'll normally get the kind of answers that you expect to get, but at the same time, it's, you know, you throw the question out there. So Clint Kubiak being asked about Max Crosby, he was actually talking with Judy Battista. He'll have an opportunity where he talks to a whole handful of media, but he was talking to Judy Batista from NFL.com and was talking about Max Crosby. And obviously, you know, that trade that did not go down and, you know, basically he made it to the kind of kind of put it to the point of that's bringing another free agent in. Like Max Crosby was just about like getting another free agent in. As a matter of fact, he said, and I quote, I think I've seen Max almost every day. He's in the building every day. He beats a lot of coaches in there. Really impressive guy. Being a great player is really important to him. You could just tell by the way he shows up. I think John Spitech said this, but it's kind of like he never left. I felt like we picked up another free agent

signing once we got him back from Baltimore, really excited about him leading our defense. And then he also went on to say, I know there's going to be a point in training camp where he's going to, we're going to get him back. I'm not going to get too much further into that. I think training camp would be back ready to roll with the way that he works. It wouldn't surprise me if he's ready earlier. So just a little bit

But obviously, Max Crosby has been a big conversation. We've talked about his knee. We've talked about the physical and the fact that he wasn't going to be able to pass a physical.

And, I mean, again, more evidence right there when he says, yeah, he'll be back ready to go around training camp. Remember when training camp is, right? That's late July, early August. So, you know, when we think about a trade and we're thinking about March, there was no way that that was going to happen. But again, you know, it's like he said, it's like getting a free agent back into the mix. So like I mentioned, John Spitech should be speaking later on this morning. I think Vinnie Bonsignor will probably send that sound over to me. I didn't make my way to Arizona this time. I've been there once and it was pretty good. But for a guy who does a radio show later in the afternoon, it doesn't really serve the same

purpose. So definitely didn't make that trip to Arizona. Also at the owners meeting, they'll be

voting on the Raiders succession plan. That's something that we talked about here on the show. Not a big

deal. Nothing to hit the panic button. Not that Mark Davis is about to sell, but it's something that every
