| 1:12.8 | Segment number three. |
| 1:14.1 | Segment number three. Segment number two, went inside the Raiders locker room on Tuesday. That was Veterans Day. And I went into the locker room with one purpose only, talking to a couple of players that grew up in military households. So I had an opportunity to catch up with Landon Roberts, Raiders middle linebacker, and of course, Ashton Genti as well, rookie running back, both those guys. |
| 1:30.0 | And the Raiders have multiple guys that have military backgrounds, went to school, or just like I said, grew up in a family. And I think that that's awesome. But that was the sole purpose of going inside the locker room on Tuesday on Veterans Day. So you'll hear from E-Rob and you'll hear from Ashton Gently in segment number two. |
| 1:45.3 | Here is segment number one, news and notes of the day, and it really has to do with the Raiders and the roster moves that they made official on Tuesday. We'll jump right into that after I tell you about the title sponsor of the show, which is Fandul. Right now, new customers can bet just $5. And if your bet wins, you'll get $300 and bonus bets to use across the app. So let's go ahead and get into the roster moves. The Raiders made official that they signed linebacker Jammin Davis to their active roster from their practice squad. And then they went and placed guard and center Jackson Powers Johnson on IR. They also signed kicker Greg Joseph to their practice squad. Now, we'll start with the obvious. Jackson Powers Johnson talked about him on Tuesday's show, knew that he was going to go on IR, knew he was going to miss at least four games, and there's a good chance he's going to miss the whole season. And I'll tell you right now, seeing him in the locker room on Tuesday, seeing him with the cast around his leg on Tuesday, and seeing one of his teammates trying to help him get a plastic |
| 2:36.2 | bag onto his leg so he could take a shower and protect that leg, kind of gave me the |
| 2:41.2 | idea that he's not coming back anytime soon. Now, I'm not a doctor. I have not been staying |
| 2:45.9 | at a hotel where I could diagnose any kind of medical situations, but just looking at him and |
| 2:50.7 | just looking kind of at his body language does not look like JPJ will be returning anytime soon. And you know what? That might be good at this stage of the game. If I'm the Raiders, I don't rush Colton Miller back either, right? I mean, again, you kind of know what this season is already. They're two and seven. Let some guys get some burns, see what you have, and let those guys get fully healthy, right? I mean, I don't think that there's all of a sudden going to be some big turnaround. The Raiders are going to go and rip off seven games in a row of winners because they got, you know, Colton Miller back, right? I just, I think that they need to take their time with those guys and very easily could see them miss the rest of the season. But that was the one that we knew was going to happen. Jammin Davis, they signed him. He was from the on the practice squad. He's a former first round pick number 19 overall by the then Washington football team in 2023. He pretty much balled out for Washington. He led the team in tackles, had a few sacks, a couple of fumble recoveries. And then in 2024, they moved on the defensive end. And he's really been basically a journeyman ever since then. Hasn't really had a lot to show. So again, just another guy that's going to be added to the active roster. Will he be a special teams guy? Will he get out there defensively? We'll find out sooner rather than later. But he has been added to the 53 man roster. And then this was the one that was intriguing, the fact that the Raiders signed kicker |
| 3:58.9 | Greg Joseph to their practice squad. |
| 4:00.9 | Joseph's been in and around the league since 2018 practice squad, active roster, active roster, |
| 4:06.3 | practice squad. |
| 4:06.9 | Let's put it like this. |
