and what my overall thoughts are on bringing in the veteran quarterback, what that'll mean for Fernando Mendoza, what that means for Clint Kubiak and the Raiders in general. So it was really funny when I woke up on Thursday morning and there was a bunch of texts and my Twitter account was blowing up and I was wondering like what in the world is going on

only to find out that, okay, about 45 minutes before I got up.

Actually, it wasn't even 45 minutes.

I think it was literally at the time

that I woke up about 615 in the morning on Thursday. And that's when the news that broke that

Kurt Cousins was indeed going to be the Raiders quarterback. He was going to agree to a deal,

or he had agreed with a deal with the Raiders to be the veteran quarterback. And I don't think I

even looked at it until probably about 45 minutes later.

So that's why there was so many notifications and looked up. I had buddies hitting me up. It's like, hey, is this real? Is this real? And I'm thinking I'm trying to get the ibergers out my eyes. I'm trying to wake up, trying to get my mind right. I was like, yeah, you know, I think it is. you know now on Twitter you got to check and then check again and then check a third time to make

sure that it's real.
