Take a look at him from many different angles from the conversation that we had with him at the Intermountain Health Performance Center on Wednesday. the conversation that he had with Good Morning Football and NFL Network with some folks on the outside are talking about Kirk

Cousins at this stage of the game and also how he impacts Fernando Mendoza moving forward. So a lot

to get to on today's show. Very excited about the opportunity as we always are. And off top,

Kirk Cousins did meet with us following the second day off the offseason workout program. So it was highly anticipated. We got to talk to him for about 20, 25 minutes. And I'm a big body language guy. I like to look to see the way that someone talks to you, the way that they stand, the way that they respond to you when you ask them questions. And for the most part, I thought Kirk Cousins was on point. There's a reason why he's been in the league 15 seasons. He's a guy that you could tell he just gets it. He understands what his role is. He's very comfortable in his role. And that's what I really took away from his press conference was he's very comfortable with his decision to sign with the Raiders, knowing that they had the number one overall pick, knowing that they're going to bring in a rookie quarterback. He got to see that rookie quarterback on Tuesday, I should say, the very first day of the offseason workout program when Fernando Mendoza had his official top 30 visit as well. So he just looked like he was very much in peace. Now that doesn't mean that

he's conceding anything where it's like, oh yeah, Fernando's going to be the quarterback. I'm just here

to collect a check. There's no mistaking that Kirk Cousins wants to play. He wants the best guy to be

out there. He reiterated that to the coach. And he also talked about that with us when he met with

us during the media session.

Like I said, about 25 and not quite 30 minutes long on Wednesday.

But before we get to that, I do want to take you back to the conversation he had on Wednesday morning

with Good Morning Football from NFL Network.

And, you know, one of the reasons why he ended up signing with the Raiders is because the

conversation that he had with Tom Brady and the vision that Tom Brady rolled out for this team.
