Let's start off just for a second. What are we drinking today, ladies? We are drinking some lovely, I'll just call it pink champagne. It is technically some kava bottled in, I assume, Spain somewhere. It was a gift from Kelly Maximin at a dinner party ages ago, and I found it on my counter, and I just thought I just bring it to you guys. Yeah, it was amazing. It was very exciting. It's like to find a $20 bill in your winter coat. Oh, sparkling rosary. I mean, this is better than a $20 bill because it's cold and it's bubbly. And it tastes splendid. Thank you, Kelly. Excellent. We also have some brownies and macaroons left over from an Oscars party last night.

We will hopefully get to a pop culture segment here at the end of our conversation today.

I remind people that Corey Shockey will be joining us later in the episodes.

She'll be here for a bit of an interview and hopefully stick around to discuss White House mayhem and all things with the National Security Council, which has, of course, been in quite turmoil, but maybe settled a bit since the last time we talked.

So keeping up foreign relations.

This is, again, we have a variety of things we could go into in this segment, but I think

we're going to start with the assassination in Malaysia, which always makes me have some sort

of weird Zoolander kind of flashback.

But instead, it was not the Prime Minister of Malaysia who was assassinated. It was the

half-brother of the North Korean president.

Correct. Kim Jong-un. And he wasn't just assassinated in any old way.

This is like straight out of Cold War playbook.

It's not quite a Bulgarian umbrella, but apparently there was VX nerve agent smeared on his face.

Is that right?

I guess if I was in an airport and people are like

spraying on your face, I would probably walk away regardless, even if I was not afraid of VX

Nervagent. But if I was the brother of Kim Jong-un, I think I might have been more suspicious,

but I don't know. Maybe this is just like me being way naive about how the brother of an
