A lot of people say my stories are hard to believe, especially ones like this.

They can't fathom something so horrific and egregious exists.

But in the case of the radioactive Hornet, I can hear the naysayers already saying,

Hey, Rodney, you just told me a buzzer the size of a tractor fought its way out of a lab,

killed multiple people, and haunted the skies of Nebraska for at least a few days.

Something like that happens. Even in a town as small as Lewitt, the rest of the world hears about it, right?

Maybe. Or maybe we're just not listening to the right people.

I believe we should take a harder look at the whispers, the rumors, the fringe conspiracies,

shows like this one, weekly stories that you write off as fiction.

Sometimes the real truth is buried in things like that.

I'm saying this, because I want you to know what happened next was real and horrible.
