Hi and welcome to Radio Estros.

Thanks so much for being here. I'm Lady Guinevere and today I'll be bringing

you part one of a new occasional series. With this episode we begin our journey through the Duncan

Egg stories where I'll be re-reading and analyzing the novellous

for you. I've been looking forward to this for a long time, and I'm taking this opportunity

while Yoke Boy is unable to join me for a short time to finally dig into the hedge night.

And of course before I go into the rundown of today's episode, you're probably wondering why

Yoke Boy is unable to be here. Well the exciting news is that he's in the process of

immigrating to the US which is going to be great for the future of

radio estros. In the short term he'll be taking a brief hiatus while he gets through all of the immigration red tape.

And in the meantime, I'll be covering the other two Dunkin' Egg Novellas at slightly irregular

intervals following this one and working around some other exciting projects

and collaborations that we have in the works.

So with the luxury of some relatively short source material for once, I've been able to reread the Hedge

Knight several times and I'm quite frankly bold over by just how much there is to talk about.

There are several meta-textual things of note, there's history, major themes,

theories, comedy, loads of little nuggets of goodness. If you haven't re-read the Hedge Night lately,

I strongly recommend it.
