Hello and welcome to another episode of Radio Westeros. I'm Lady Guinevere in Boston.

And I'm Yoke Boy in England and with this episode we're happy to bring you the

second installment of our analysis on the War of the Five Kings.

Yeah, this is part two of a three-part series and in part one we covered the

backstory of the war, reviewed the five kings, the military

commanders and other major players as well as explored the origins of the conflict.

And we also offered a complete analysis of the first stage of the war when hostilities between

House Dark and House Lannister began in the Riverlands.

Throughout, our goal has been to relate the events in chronological order

as best as we can, to give you listeners a real sense of how things were unfolding in various locations in relation to each other. And with today's episode we'll carry on with the action of the war from the Riverlands to the stormlands, the

Westerlands, the north, and the reach, and finally we'll analyze the climactic

battle of the war as Stanis Barathian leads the attack on King's Landing.

Yeah, a large part of this episode will actually be devoted to the Battle of Blackwater,

its buildup and aftermath. We've never discussed Blackwater in an episode, so it's exciting for us, and you'll find we have plenty to say about it here.
