I thought we might be on the patio tonight in this 70-plus degree weather.

But lots to talk about Michigan coming off a home ice sweep of the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame that secures home ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

So the seniors, the grad transfers, all guaranteed of playing at least two more games at Yost Ice Arena, Jacob Barchesky, the Big Ten's first star of the week with 50 of 51 saves, his second career shutout in a Michigan jersey and a save percentage of 980 on the week.

Associate head coach Rob Rossi is with us, so lots to talk about, including an upcoming trip to Minnesota with third place on the line in the standings on the final week of Big Ten regular season play.
