Let's talk Michigan football. Welcome to this week's edition of the Inside Michigan Football Radio show. Over the next hour, we're discussing the latest around Wolverines football

and hearing from players and coaches.

Now, here's your host, John Jansen.

Well, it was a special night in the big house, a maze out in primetime.

Over 108,000 Michigan faithful joined together to cheer on the Michigan Wolverines,

but to also remember and honor those we lost 20 years ago on September 11, 2001.

If you missed the halftime performance, I encourage you to go find it.

The hardworking members and faculty of the Michigan Marching Band had a performance

marking the 20-year anniversary of 9-11.

That was absolutely spectacular, and it's certainly a must-see.

Michigan has begun this season with two dominant victories,

the latest over the Washington Huskies, by a score of 31 to 10.

The offense racked up 343 yards on the ground, bringing their two-week rushing total to 678 yards.

Blake Corum rushed for 171 yards this past Saturday on 21 carries, and reached the end zone three times.

And Hassan Haskins added 155 yards on 27 carries and added one touchdown.

The Wolverine defense allowed only one touchdown in a 10-point performance.

And the defense produced four sacks, five more quarterback hits.

Aiden Hutchinson accounted for two and a half of the sacks, joined once by Taylor Upshaw,

and David O'Jabo provided the fourth.

Senior linebacker Josh Ross was all over the Husky offense and led the defense with 11

tackles.
