Let's talk Michigan football.

Welcome to this week's edition of the Inside Michigan Football Radio show.

Over the next hour, we're discussing the latest around Wolverines football and hearing from players and coaches.

Michigan improved its record on Saturday to 2 and 0 with a win over Hawaii.

J.J. McCarthy saw his first start. He was 11 of 12 for 229 yards and through for three

touchdowns. Coach Harbaugh called it a near perfect performance. Blake Corum

averaged almost 10 yards per carry. Donovan Edwards had his very own drive.

Three plays, 59 yards, which included a run for 25 yards, a reception of 33,

followed by a one-yard touchdown run.

In all, seven Wolverines found the end zone eight different times,

accounting for Michigan's 56 points.

Defensively, the Wolverines held the Rainbow Warriors to 10 total points,

allowing only 47 yards of offense at the first half.

Defensively, Michigan ranks 11th nationally in the scoring defense

with eight and a half points per game allowed,

and offensively they are tied for the top scoring offense at 53 and a half points per game.

That's all really nice, but it will be put aside as Michigan welcomes the University of

Connecticut led by head coach Jim Moore to the Big House this Saturday.

The Huskies are currently one and two on the season.
