This is Inside Michigan Football with John Jansen, and I am pleased to be joined by Don Brown, Michigan's defensive coordinator. Coach, how are you doing this evening?

Things are great, John. I mean, we've been going at it since the middle of June with no pause.

Guys are working hard.

And, you know, it's nice to be in pads so you can, you know, see guys banging around a little bit.

But at the same time, you know, the focus is still on learning

and we're still three weeks out. So we're getting better. We're getting better every day. I can tell you

that. I've got to imagine that your reaction is similar to a player's reaction, but how excited were

you, after everything that's going on and the season being

canceled or postponed and now it's back, that first day of contact to hear the pads pop,

how excited do you get as a coach?
