Over the next hour, we'll catch up with

Joanne Howard and Kim Barnes-O-Rico to hear the very latest on Michigan men's and women's

basketball. Here are your hosts, national champion Terry Mills, and the voice of Michigan basketball,

Brian Bush. Oh, it's good to be doing this again in person with an applause, a live audience, and with

the national champ Terry Mills. I am indeed Brian Bush. Great crowd, great night. And hey,

some great talk about basketball. We might sprinkle in a little football, too. Yeah, I think the town

is probably still bumps in a little bit over that. So we definitely

got to talk about that. But hey, what a start, man, about the women. The women off to a 7-0 start.

Man, I tell you what, it's exciting watching them last year, man. I tell you, man. I said in that

off-season, for both the men and the women, there were so many difficult times last year.

And for all that the players and coaches endured and all those challenges, they helped make everyone else's lives in Ann Arbor a little bit easier during all of that.

And listen, it would have been great to watch them even if they would not have gone to

the Sweet 16 in the lead eight.

But, boy, that was extra special.

Yeah, they just had you glued to the TV because, I mean, I was glued to the TV every

time they played because when you're in a COVID situation like we was, that's all you

could do was watch TV and that's what I did.

I mean, pre-COVID you were just sitting around watching basketball too.

No, no, not really.
